“Primary care” covers a wide range of different treatments and services. No matter what your age, what your health care need is, or what kind of medical advice you’re seeking, primary care can point you in the right direction and offer basic treatment.
Typically, if you need general care, check-ups, or have any type of health concern, you can seek treatment from a primary care provider. In some cases, they may refer you to a specialist for more specific treatment, depending on your needs and condition.
